Do I need an appointment to get fingerprinted?

No appointment is required. Walk-ins are welcome at both our Tampa and St. Pete locations during posted business hours. We also offer mobile services by request.

What do I need to bring with me?

A government-issued photo ID. The ID must be valid and unexpired. Acceptable IDs include a driver’s license, state ID, passport, military ID, and green card. Please also bring your ORI number and OCA Number (If applicable), found on your fingerprint request form.

How much does fingerprinting cost?

Fingerprinting costs vary depending on your agency’s ORI number and the type of background check. State-mandated FDLE fees are included in our pricing. Please contact us in advance for a quote based on your specific needs.

What is an ORI number and why is it important?

ORI stands for Originating Agency Identifier Number. These numbers tell the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) why you need the background check and to whom to send your results. Your ORI number ensures your fingerprints are sent to the right state department.
